The series Fires begins in September 2019 documenting the horrific fires in Queensland and their deadly march south, burning out of control through NSW and Victoria until February 2020. Each episode is set in a different location as the fires spread and build to a terrifying onslaught across the country through Christmas and New Year.

Tell Them Lucifer was Here tells the true story of the cold-blooded murders of Police Officers Silk and Miller, who were gunned down in the line of duty in 1998, and the massive police manhunt to catch their killers. The story centres on the investigation of the brutal murders under the direction of Detective Inspector Paul Sheridan and the Lorimer Taskforce.

The Man Who Got Away tells the true story of British-Australian drug smuggler David McMillan. McMillan came from a privileged background, but chose a life of crime, which put him on Interpol’s Top Ten Most Wanted list. Underbelly: The Golden Mile is set in Sydney’s King Cross in 1988—1999, where bent cops, straight cops, cool criminals and colourful characters all converged to make their mark. Underbelly, the true story of one of the bloodiest crime battles in Australian history, follows the rise and fall of notorious career criminal Carl Williams who sought to be king of Melbourne’s underworld. The series, based on the factual book Leadbelly by John Silvester and Andrew Rule, is the compelling dramatisation of Melbourne’s infamous gangland killings that started in 1998 with the murder of Alphonse Gangitano.

The King is the story of Graham Kennedy, Australia’s first and greatest home grown TV superstar. It traces his rise and rise, from working class Balaclava kid, through radio, TV, film, and back to TV again. But against this backdrop of professional success, it also tracks Kennedy’s personal tragedies, the loneliness, the unrealised ambitions and the terrible pressures of being Australia’s first superstar in the 1950s and 60s.

S.O.S - Save Our Sons

The goaling of the ‘Fairlea Five’ was the first many Australians had heard of the Save Our Sons. Yet, since 1965, the women had been putting on their ‘hats and gloves’ and carried their blue and white banners high - the army barracks; to court; to Parliament House; to the City Square; and even, in 1969 to Vietnam. ‘Vietnam’ which to a whole generation was synonymous with ‘War’.

This is a filmmaker’s journey through the minefield of the sixties, a period full off complexities and contradictions. It is a period that has suffered from both a revisionist backlash and a nostalgic glorification. S.O.S. unveils the motivations and real experiences of the Save Our Sons women. What is crucial, above all, is the inspiration and sense of possibilities for political activism these women - our foremothers - leave us with.
